Description

Cisco Catalyst C9300X-24Y Fiber Switch

High-Density Fiber Aggregation | 24x 1G/10G/25G SFP28 | 1-Tbps Stacking | Data-Only

The Cisco Catalyst C9300X-24Y is a high-density, ultra-high-throughput enterprise fiber aggregation switch engineered for demanding distribution and access layer topologies. Equipped with 24 fixed downlinks that support line-rate 1G, 10G, and 25G SFP28 optics, this versatile platform effortlessly aggregates downstream access switches, high-speed campus backbones, or server-farm arrays. Driven by the advanced UADP 2.0sec ASIC, it features hardware-accelerated 100G IPsec encryption and robust x86 application hosting to deliver a resilient, zero-trust network foundation.

Key Technical Features

* 24 Ports of 25G Fiber Density

Features 24 fixed SFP28 slots that dynamically auto-negotiate 1G, 10G, or 25G links to support diverse network expansion paths.

* Cisco StackWise-1T Ready

Supports up to 1 Tbps of resilient backpanel stacking bandwidth. Mix and stack backward-compatibly with other Catalyst 9300X configurations.

* 100G Hardware IPsec

Localized crypto acceleration embedded within the ASIC layout drives ultra-secure site-to-site or cloud tunnels without sacrificing line-rate wire speeds.

* Modular Expansion Bay

Includes one empty network module slot accepting optional C9300X uplink expansion cards for massive 40G or 100G backbone uplinks.

* App Hosting & Virtual Firewalls

An x86 architecture with 16GB RAM and dual 10G AppGig ports natively hosts third-party security containers like the Cisco ASAc virtual firewall.

* Smart Power Resiliency

Shares the same physical dual hot-swappable fans, power cables, and StackPower logic as the rest of the 9300 enterprise family.
