The Cisco Catalyst C9115AXI-B is an enterprise-grade WiFi 6 wireless access point designed for organizations that need stronger wireless performance, improved user density handling, and modern controller-based deployment flexibility. It features dual-band 802.11ax radios with 4x4:4 MU-MIMO technology, delivering up to 5.38 Gbps aggregate wireless throughput for laptops, mobile devices, VoIP handsets, and bandwidth-intensive cloud applications. Cisco also integrates OFDMA efficiency, BSS coloring, Target Wake Time, WPA3 security, and an internal Bluetooth Low Energy/IoT radio to improve client performance, device visibility, and wireless efficiency in busy business environments.
Physical connectivity is handled through 1 x 100M/1G/2.5G Multigigabit Ethernet RJ-45 PoE uplink port along with 1 x RJ-45 console management port for local provisioning and recovery access. As an internal antenna “I” model, it is designed for clean indoor ceiling or wall installations, while the “B” regulatory domain identifies the supported wireless region set. With Cisco Catalyst wireless controller / DNA licensing support, the access point is built to operate with Cisco Catalyst 9800 series controllers, while Embedded Wireless Controller capability can also be enabled for smaller standalone deployments.
