The Cisco Catalyst C9117AXI-B is a high-performance enterprise WiFi 6 wireless access point built for organizations that require stronger wireless density, faster multiclient throughput, and advanced RF intelligence across demanding business environments. It features dual-band 802.11ax radios with an 8x8:8 MU-MIMO architecture on 5 GHz and 4x4:4 operation on 2.4 GHz, allowing it to deliver up to 5.38 Gbps aggregate wireless throughput for laptops, mobile devices, VoIP systems, and bandwidth-intensive cloud applications. Cisco also integrates OFDMA efficiency, BSS coloring, Target Wake Time, WPA3 security, and a dedicated Bluetooth Low Energy radio to improve client handling, IoT visibility, and wireless consistency in dense deployments.
