Can I mix a 750 W and an 1100 W supply in one server?
Do not plan on it. Redundant bays expect matching wattage and efficiency rating; most platforms either refuse the mismatched pair or quietly give up redundancy, which defeats the point of the second supply. Buy the pair matched — or match the one already installed.
Can I install higher-wattage PSUs than the originals?
Yes, as long as your chassis supports that module family and you upgrade both bays together. It is the standard move when added GPUs or extra drives push the power budget past the original supplies — tell us your configuration and we will size it.
