PowerEdge is the deepest single line we carry. As of August 2026 roughly 330 Dell configurations are in stock here, of which around 115 are build-to-order chassis awaiting your parts list. Almost all of it is rack-mount; tower PowerEdge units are a handful at any given moment. Where the stock actually sits:
Figures counted August 2026 and quoted as bands on purpose — PowerEdge stock and pricing shift week to week. The listing grid above this text is the live source.
Dell's naming is systematic once you know the grammar, and it saves a lot of scrolling:
If you would rather filter by rack height than by number, jump to 1U, 2U, the full rack server shelf, PowerEdge towers, or the accelerator-equipped GPU servers.
More returns start here than anywhere else. A PowerEdge chassis is built around a fixed backplane, and the bay count in the listing title is not decoration:
The difference between a used Dell server from an auction listing and one from this warehouse is process, not vocabulary:
Matched PowerEdge nodes for a cluster, a spare-parts pool for an existing fleet, or a model we do not list — all of it goes through the quote desk. A specialist confirms the spec within one business day and returns a detailed quote in 24–48 hours, with a written competing offer matched. You can also compare against our HPE ProLiant stock or the wider refurbished server catalogue before deciding.
Nearly every PowerEdge that leaves this warehouse has a PERC controller sitting in front of the drives, so the array layout is part of the order, not an afterthought. What is a RAID array? walks through RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with the capacity cost of each, and the server buying guide covers the rest of the spec sheet in the same order we ask about it on a quote.
iDRAC level varies by unit and is stated on the product page where it applies. If remote console and virtual media are a requirement for your deployment, confirm it with us before ordering rather than assuming — we can specify it on a build-to-order configuration.
Rails appear as a selectable option on configurable listings and are called out in the description on finished units. Sliding versus static and the rack depth you are mounting into both matter, so tell us the rack if you are unsure.
Within a generation, yes — we ship units on a known firmware baseline. Across generations, support windows differ: 13th-generation platforms are past their newest bundles, which is part of why they cost what they do. If a specific hypervisor or firmware level is mandatory, raise it before you order.
Same 2U two-socket platform, different storage geometry. The xd variant carries substantially more drive bays and is the one to buy for storage nodes, backup targets and software-defined storage; the plain R730 is the compute-oriented build.
Yes — caddies, controllers, memory, power supplies and rails are all stocked separately. Note that the 1-year system warranty covers configured units; parts bought loose are sold under our return policy instead.
